The Client
TRC Companies is a national consulting firm handling planning, permitting, and licensing for major energy projects. Their client was developing a 450-megawatt photovoltaic solar facility on Bureau of Land Management land in Riverside County, California: a project valued at over one billion dollars.
The Problem
Federal review required Section 508 compliant documents. With no advance notice, TRC needed numerous complex documents totaling more than 1,500 pages remediated in seven days. Missing the deadline meant delaying a billion-dollar project.
What We Did
We joined the team immediately and worked evenings and weekends to remediate the full document set: tagging structure, reading order, alternative text, tables, and forms across every page, to the standard a federal detail review would apply.
